The Precision Technologies Group (PTG) has expanded its focus on the key German markets for its precision components, machine tool products, and consultancy services, with the establishment, on August 3rd 2009, of a new division, PTG Deutschland. The new division’s headquarters is strategically located in the industrial city of Augsburg, just outside Munich, placing its operations firmly at the heart of one of Germany’s premier manufacturing regions.

Heavyweight industrial management figure Stephen Lord joins as CEO, the current MD of PTG's machine tools operations Dr. Tony Bannan is promoted to COO, and Mark Merryweather joins as CFO to create a new hands-on senior management team.
Holroyd continues success in export markets with £2.4m order for world's largest rotor milling machine.
Holroyd Precision Ltd, part of the Precision Technologies Group (PTG), has continued its success in export markets with a £2.4million order from a Far Eastern customer for a Holroyd 8EX rotor milling machine; the largest machine of its type in the world. Delivered in early 2009, the 8EX machine has a swing of 900mm and is for the production of screw rotors for the gas processing industry.
Precision Components Manufactures World's Largest High Precision Screw Rotors For Gas Compression Project In Far East
Precision Components Ltd, part of the Precision Technologies Group (PTG), has produced the largest sets of screw rotors ever manufactured for a gas compression project in the Far East. The screw rotors are manufactured in stainless steel to resist corrosion from highly contaminated gases and gas mixtures. They are 816mm in diameter by 3.5 metres long, and weigh in at 6 - tonnes each.
